During my recent family stay at Alpencolor in Passo del Tonale, I found this charming hotel to strike an admirable balance between luxury and value. The location is ideal for a ski holiday, with ski-in/ski-out convenience that simplifies access to the slopes. While the rooms are spacious and equipped with comfortable beds-though a touch narrow-the parquet flooring adds a cozy touch without excessive extravagance. The hotel staff's warm hospitality truly enhances the experience, guiding us through ski equipment hire and providing valuable insights on local ski passes and schools. The breakfast spread aligns with typical offerings found in Italian hotels at this price range, while the option for normal, wholesome dinners is a welcome touch for families. the presence of a children's play area and availability of board games ensured that our kids were entertained during downtime. Small amenities like free toiletries and a flat-screen TV catered to our family's routine without delving into opulence. Alpencolor offers a practical yet delightful choice for families seeking a memorable holiday without overspending, making it a smart option when considering your next alpine getaway.
